Is there any pain involved in the test?

No. The cells needed for a DNA test can be simply swabbed from the inside of the cheek with a sterile cotton swab.

Not only is it pain-free, everyone can do this themselves at home. The person conducting the test should not eat or drink for approximately one hour before the test .
